Currently one of the most successful programs in New England, Westminster Varsity Softball has won 11 Founders 联盟 titles and 9 Class A Western 新英格兰锦标赛s since 2007, while achieving a record of 222 wins and 25 losses during that time. The spring of 2023 marked the 17th consecutive year Westminster qualified for the highly competitive Western New England Tournament as one of the top four Class A teams.  
 


Westminster softball players have gone on to compete at D3 and D1 schools including Bates College, 鲍登学院, 布兰代斯大学, 布莱恩特大学, 康奈尔大学, 乔治敦大学, 汉密尔顿学院, 零售物价指数, 和卫斯理大学.
 


The spring of 2024 will mark the 20th year Westminster Softball has traveled to Orlando for preseason practices and games. 从佛罗里达回来后, the Martlets play a strong 18-game schedule including contests against Class A opponents Choate, 迪尔菲尔德中学, 卢米斯查菲堡, 塔夫脱和威利斯顿, as well as Class B teams such as 库欣学院, 埃塞尔沃克, Kingswood-Oxford, 和美迪辛哈. The Westminster team plays on a beautiful field constructed in 2008.
 


Head coach 米奇 Overbye and assistant coach 妮可 加西亚 run the program. Mr. Overbye has been at Westminster since 1999, and has also coached numerous travel and town teams. Ms. 加西亚's previous experience includes successful years coaching softball at 美迪辛哈学院.
 


With this dedicated and enthusiastic staff, the team is well prepared each spring for a challenging and rewarding softball experience.
